The Office of Registration and Student Affairs at AlShaab University held a workshop for faculty and administrators on the Bologna Process as part of its continuous endeavor to educate the department’s staff on modern higher education policies which enhance the quality and relevance of learning and teaching. This introductory workshop for the system was held over a period of three consecutive days, during which the instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which will work to implement in most Iraqi universities during the academic year 2023-2024 as a special system related to study units for engineering, technology and science disciplines, were emphasized. The workshop provided a detailed explanation regarding the guide issued by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research on the Bologna Process, the chapters it contains, and the Bologna Course extended workshop.
It is noteworthy that the Bologna track is a new educational system that derives its name from an Italian university. It is an advanced scientific system accredited by universities in the European Union and other universities in other countries. It aims to improve and upgrade the education system.
