For the purpose of familiarizing themselves with the actual work fields and getting acquainted with the real environment of practicing various scientific specialties, students of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering at AlShaab University, accompanied by faculty members from the department, organized a scientific visit to the Baghdad Artificial Limbs Center on Saturday, March 2, 2024. During the visit, they were briefed and familiarized with the center's workflow and the procedures it follows in treating medical cases related to individuals suffering from amputation or weakness in any part of the body, through theoretical and practical explanations provided by engineers and technicians at the Baghdad Artificial Limbs Center.
