Scientific Workshop at AlShaab University Explores the Details of Implementing the Bologna Process

The Bologna Process, which the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has called for its implementation in over 600 specialized departments in the engineering and science colleges of both public and private universities during the academic year 2023-2024, is considered a system that contributes to the development of higher education in Iraq and its advancement.Recognizing the importance of the Bologna Process and in order to keep pace with developments in the field of education, enhancing the academic and educational process within the university, the Information Technology Department at AlShaab University organized an extensive scientific workshop. The workshop, presented by the department's director, Dr. Laith Abdul Amir Mohammed, took place in the Central Library Hall of the university on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. It was attended by heads of scientific departments, coordinators, and a number of professors and lecturers.The workshop included an introduction to the Bologna system, an overview of its application, as well as practical applications demonstrating the procedures through the system for creating accounts for the university president, colleges, deans, scientific departments, and their heads. It also covered the addition of courses, instructors, and students, along with a comprehensive explanation of the university's education system and how to access services from Google and Microsoft, as well as the internal communication service.
