The Department of Relations and Media documented one of the lectures delivered to first-year students in the Department of Information Security Engineering by English language teacher Stephanie Cheeseman, where the conversation method was adopted as a basis for teaching and learning course materials. Students have been learning English via this method since the beginning of the academic year, or just over two months.
Most students are keen and motivated to attend the English language class and develop their language skills through the interactive methods and activities utilized by the language teacher.
This method falls within the university's philosophy of developing skills alongside education, the motto adopted by AlShaab University at its inception. It is worth noting that the list of personal and professional skills is drawn in a manner commensurate with the student's academic level and his or her understanding of their specialization during the academic career.
