Prof. Dr Yousif Al-Dunainawi, the President of AlShaab University, affirmed during his participation in a significant dialogue session addressing the topic of artificial intelligence: threats and opportunities, held as part of the Al-Rafidain Forum for Dialogue, and attended by several professors and experts in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, computing, and digital media. He emphasized that artificial intelligence technologies have permeated all sectors without exception, exerting control over people's daily lives through algorithms and social media platforms like TikTok, for example. He noted that successive governments after 2003 did not prioritize digital empowerment, explaining that one of the most crucial AI technologies is the digital environment. Its absence would lead to the absence of numerous services in Iraq. He further highlighted that artificial intelligence can facilitate a unique educational environment.
