At the head of the preparatory committees for the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities (AARU) in Baghdad: Expectations and preparations, with the participation of Dr Yousif Al-Dunainawi

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Al-Aboudi chaired a meeting of the committees responsible for preparing to host the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities (AARU), scheduled to take place in Baghdad at the beginning of March next year, 2024. During the meeting, attended by Dr. Yousif Al-Dunainawi, the university president, the progress of the committees' work, the agenda content, and the scientific events planned at the University of Baghdad during the first week of March were reviewed.Dr. Al-Aboudi directly contacted the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, Dr. Amr Azat Salama, to confirm the readiness of the organizational procedures for the General Conference. He emphasized his interest in this academic event, which is significant for Arab universities and provides a vital opportunity for bilateral agreements between Arab institutions. The Secretary-General stressed the importance of implementing the outcomes of the General Conference in Baghdad through programs and schedules that promote collaborative work.
