Amidst an atmosphere filled with sorrow and grief, AlShaab University held a mourning ceremony and recited Surah Al-Fatiha to commemorate the soul of the late Dr. Anwar Matar Kreer, a lecturer in the Department of Financial and Banking Sciences. The event was attended by Dr. Khamees Abdullah Ali, Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, along with several professors, lecturers, and students of the university. During the ceremony, Dr. Khamees delivered a speech offering condolences to the family, colleagues, and students of the deceased, recalling his academic journey, dedication to work, and commitment to nurturing the love of knowledge among students. He prayed for the departed to be encompassed by divine mercy and forgiveness, and for patience and solace to be granted to his family and loved ones. Additionally, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Naji Mohammed, a lecturer in the Department of Financial and Banking Sciences, highlighted the achievements and academic contributions of the late Dr. Anwar Matar Kreer. He portrayed him as a noble and knowledgeable figure who left a significant mark in the fields of science and knowledge. Dr. Mohammed prayed for the departed to be granted mercy and admitted into the highest ranks of paradise by the will of the Almighty.
