Within the framework of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the implementation and activation of scientific twinning between governmental and private universities, and the endeavor to develop a roadmap that contributes to enhancing the reality of higher education and scientific research in educational institutions and advancing it both quantitatively and qualitatively, a delegation from AlShaab University represented by Professor Yousif Khalef Yousif, the university president, and Assistant Professor Bilal Rashid Abdul-Majeed, the dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, visited the headquarters of Al-Iraqia University. They met with its president, Professor Ali Saleh Hussein, his assistant for scientific affairs, Professor Khamees Awad Zaidan, and the director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Assistant Professor Dureid Yahya Mohammed.During the visit, the mechanism for signing the twinning and joint scientific cooperation agreement between the two universities was discussed and finalized. The agreement aims to enhance scientific and cultural cooperation between AlShaab University and Al-Iraqia University, and to build strong bonds between private and governmental universities. The agreement includes several important provisions and clauses, notably the exchange of administrative and scientific expertise among the teaching and administrative staff of both universities. It also involves enhancing student activities, cultural and scientific events, as well as developing joint programs and conducting workshops, seminars, and scientific conferences to promote the exchange of ideas, support scientific innovations, and improve the educational journey for students at both universities.
