In order to expand scientific knowledge and enhance academic performance for professors and lecturers at AlShaab University, and as part of the university's week of scientific and student activities, the university organized a training workshop focusing on the topic of scientific research and its importance in developing and enhancing the educational process. Dr. Yousef Khalaf Yousef, the university president, delivered a scientific and practical lecture on the Scopus data system, introducing it, explaining its details and scientific advantages, and highlighting its significance as an accredited database in the research process. He also elaborated on how to access it and the scientific benefits it offers to researchers, urging professors and lecturers to engage in scientific research and develop comprehensive research plans within their academic departments. The attendees actively engaged with the course topic through their contributions and questions, enriching the scientific lecture and enhancing it with valuable information.
