In order to increase students’ scientific awareness and develop their professional and technical skills and capabilities in a way that embodies the University’s motto of skills and education, the Department of Medical Devices Engineering in the College of Engineering and Information Technology at AlShaab University organized a science fair on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. In attendance were the University president, faculty, staff, and university students. Several students gave presentations on medical devices from leading manufacturers in this field, with a brief explanation of the nature of each device, its mechanism of action and areas of use, as well as the advantages of these devices. Other students presented ideas and projects that can be worked on in the future.
The science fair is an important step towards enhancing student skills in academic methods that contribute to the development of the innovation processes and awaken the spirit of creativity and scientific excellence, and an example of AlShaab University’s unique approach to education.
