One of the important and vital departments at AlShaab University, aiming to lead in the field of technical education both locally and globally, aspires to produce graduates who excel both theoretically and practically by offering the best knowledge programs in the field of anesthesia. The Department of Anesthesia Technology strives to graduate specialized professionals equipped to work in anesthesia technology and intensive care fields within operating rooms, intensive care units, and recovery rooms. Additionally, it aims to prepare medical personnel knowledgeable in fundamental medical sciences, applied sciences, and modern clinical sciences, capable of effectively handling emergency and critical patient cases.

Objectives of the Department

1- Graduating scientifically qualified professionals in the field.
2- Enabling students to contribute to resuscitation cases and interventions as needed.
3- Teaching students the necessary skills to handle various anesthesia and intensive care cases.
4- Instructing students on how to prepare medications and solutions required for anesthesia.
5- Empowering students to gain intellectual and practical understanding of anesthesia equipment and their maintenance methods.
6- Training students to administer anesthesia to patients under the supervision of a specialist anesthesiologist.
