Iraq receives international accreditation from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME)

The World Federation for Medical Education granted the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq full international accreditation at the level of program evaluation and approved standards in areas within the quality of medical education. In a message sent by WFME, the Recognition Committee has concluded its voting and approved the recognition of NCAMC until 2034. The National Commission for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq is recognized for its policies and procedures to ensure the quality of medical education. On this blessed occasion, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, congratulates the Iraqi people, their esteemed government, the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges, and the academic and health institutions on this unprecedented historical achievement. It signifies the culmination of the diligent work of our national educational institutions, which have accomplished with confidence, responsibility, and in record time what dedicated individuals in the medical education environment in Iraq aspire to achieve.
