The College of Engineering and Information Technology, Department of Civil Engineering, first-year students at AlShaab University, organized a scientific visit to the Qurtuba Bridge project, being executed by a renowned company in downtown Baghdad. The visit was led by the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Professor Ziad Sulaiman Mohammed, accompanied by the department's lecturer, Mr. Yasser Sami Gharib. During the visit, the students received a comprehensive explanation from the company representative regarding the various stages of the project. At the conclusion of the visit, the department head emphasized to the students the importance of such vital projects and the correlation of each stage with the academic courses they are undertaking to become competent engineers in the future.
