واحد من ابرز الاقسام العلمية في جامعة الشعب ، وتخصص هندسي من اهم التخصصات في عالم تكنولوجيا المعلومات ، والذي يسعى الى محاكاة الذكاء الطبيعي من خلال استخدام نماذج الحاسوب الذكية وتوفير التقنيات والتكنولوجيا اللازمة لبناء انظمة قادرة على اتخاذ القرارات والاجراءات الذكية ، وهو فرع من فروع الهندسة التي تركز على تطوير وتصميم الانظمة والبرمجيات التي تمكن الاجهزة الذكية والانظمة من القيام بالتفكير الذكي واتخاذ القرارات بناء على البيانات والمعرفة المكتسبة ، ويتضمن تخصص هندسة الذكاء الاصطناعي دراسة المفاهيم النظرية والتقنيات العملية المطلوبة لتوفير انظمة تكنولوجية تقترب من اداء بعض المهام التي يقوم بها الانسان بطريقة ذكية ،
The duration of study in the department is four years, during which the student receives theoretical and practical lessons on the applications of artificial intelligence in the fundamental areas of cognitive science applications, smart machines, and natural languages.
