Department Overview
It is one of the important departments in college of business. It aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to deal with economic events of a financial nature that occur in organizations by recording them in records or electronic systems for the purpose of preparing financial statements and reports to show the results of the activities of those organizations and their financial position.

Objectives of the Department
1. Familiarizing students with information and terminology related to the accounting field.
2. Equipping them with the skills related to recording financial transactions, categorizing, summarizing them, and preparing financial statements and reports.
3. Ensuring that students have a good understanding of all legal aspects related to accounting activities in government and economic organizations.
4. Assisting decision-makers through the reports provided by the accounting system, which contain quantitative financial information.
