ارشد فؤاد مجيد حاصل على شهادة البكالوريوس في ادارة الاعمال وشهادة الماجستير في ادارة المصارف عام 1983 (البكالوريوس) عام 1990(الماجستير) من جامعة بغداد. حاصل على شهادة الدكتوراة في الادارة المالية من الجامعة المستنصرية،بغداد, العراق.
الاهتمامات البحثية تتركز في المجالات الاتية:
الاسواق المالية، المحافظ الاستثمارية، ادارة البنوك، تطبيقات الصيرفة الالكترونية، التعليم الالكتروني، ريادة الاعمال. تمويل المشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة.
