Department Overview
AlShaab University offers modern scientific specializations that have become of great importance in society, including the Cybersecurity Engineering Department, which is a branch of modern technology that contributes to protecting systems, networks, and software from cyberattacks. The cybersecurity specialization bridges between network engineering and cybersecurity engineering, focusing on data protection in all its forms during transmission, storage, and transit across networks. The duration of study in the department is four years, during which the student receives information on various topics such as electrical circuits, databases, website design, and artificial intelligence through a curriculum that keeps pace with the latest developments and needs in the job market for cybersecurity specializations.
