The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers held a workshop to train employees of ministries and independent organizations on the newly launched digital platform for applied research. The platform aims to link all state institutions with universities and research centers to further discussion and collaboration on finding solutions to problems facing the government sector.
Dr. Youssef Khalaf , who developed the applied research platform, explained how digital collaboration allows the government to more efficiently and effectively achieve its goals The project is overseen by the Director of the Pioneering Projects Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Department of Research and Development, and is authorized for use by all state ministries and independent bodies.
The main objective of this workshop and others is to develop applied research mechanisms to find immediate solutions to problems facing our society in areas such as health, the environment, and the economy, while providing a reliable infrastructure that offers real-time coordination among all state institutions, universities, and research centers to achieve set goals.
