The Department of Banking and Financial Sciences in the College of Business at AlShaab University held a workshop entitled “Quality Standards in Higher Education” to discuss ways to increase quality through technological and academic support.
The workshop, held in the central meeting room, was attended by department heads and professors who participated in presentations and discussions focusing on the performance level of the university student as an indicator of the quality of education at AlShaab University. The University focuses on skill empowerment and knowledge, which is a completely different educational model. With this method of instruction, a graduating student will hold a reputable credential in his or her hand in the government or private sector.
Prof. Dr. Manahil Mustafa Abdel-Meguid, who ran the workshop, commented on Mr. Hamza Basem regarding how the professor should develop himself and improve the level of research published in reputable academic journals. Also recommended was the use of modern curricula that keep pace with development and raise the level of student output.
