The Faculty of Law at AlShaab University held a seminar on January 17, 2023 entitled Drawing the Hamza in Arabic in the central meeting hall of the university. It was attended by various faculty members and a number of students interested in the Arabic language.
The discussion was hosted by Dr. Heba Abbas Mohsen, a teacher at the College of Law, in which she spoke about setting the hamza, drawing it, pronouncing it, and controlling it as a part of speech. The discussion was directed to the teaching staff in the College of Law in the presence of students, and most of the attendees participated by asking valuable questions and offering opinions on the subject.
It is noteworthy that this panel discussion comes as part of a series of seminars and academic activities aimed at revitalizing the Arabic language, expanding vocabulary, and pronouncing words correctly.
