AlShaab University held its first opening convocation December 1, 2022 to welcome the incoming freshman class, to promote an environment of camaraderie among students, faculty, and staff, and to wish everyone great success in the 2022/2023 academic year.
First-year students expressed their thanks and gratitude for this welcome event hosted by the president and deans, who strive to create an outstanding university experience for all.

The President of AlShaab University delivered a speech in which he welcomed all the attendees, and congratulated students and their families on starting the new academic year.
"Today you are going to take your seats in your respective colleges and departments. It is my responsibility to build the framework of the educational process through which you achieve your goals. You are the primary beneficiary of these efforts we are making, and we wish you great success in this academic environment."
