The primary objective of the Accounting Department is to prepare qualified personnel in the field of accounting and auditing who maintain awareness of economic developments and contribute to local and regional enterprises. Graduates of the program become essential resources in financial accounting, auditing, human resource accounting, cost accounting, banking and insurance accounting, and hotel and hospital accounting. All coursework is aligned with international accounting and auditing standards as well as financial reporting standards. The department utilizes cutting edge technology and software to deliver its courses.
